Recall that the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match on May 8 was declared cancelled due to security reasons.
Change Venue:
The play-off venue is likely to change. Before the tournament was postponed, the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches were to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Qualifier 2 and the final were to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Now, as per the latest update, there will be no change in the venue of both the Qualifier and Eliminator matches, but the final match could be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad instead of Kolkata.

Are all foreign players in India?
No. When the BCCI decided to suspend the league, foreign players and support staff were asked to return to their countries. Many of these players have returned home. They will be called back. However, keeping in mind the final match of the World Test Championship, some players from Australia may refuse to come to India.
Why is IPL in May?
Every year, April-May is the window available for IPL. That is, no major series is held anywhere in the world during this period. If the remaining IPL matches are not held in May, the board will have to wait until September.
The final match of the World Test Championship between Australia and South Africa will be played from June 11. After that, the Indian team is scheduled to tour England, where a 5-Test series will begin from June 20. The remaining teams will also be busy with separate series till August. That is why the BCCI has planned to end the IPL in May.
